Terms and Conditions
The Applicant agrees to use myTOYOTA Wallet under the following terms and conditions,
which defines the standard rules which you should observe. If you do not fully understand the
terms and conditions, you should not use myTOYOTA Wallet.
Toyota is required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, notices and guidelines issued
by the relevant government and regulatory authority, including Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
(BSP) Circular No. 649, the Philippine Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended, and
the Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012.
Pursuant to such applicable laws, regulations, notices and guidelines, Applicant may be
required to provide to Toyota such data, and upgrade the account within the year, to allow it
to establish and verify their identity both at the time of opening the myTOYOTA Wallet
account, at periodic intervals after opening the account, and on ongoing basis.
You agree that you will cooperate in relation to any anti-money laundering and countering
terrorism financing screening that is required and to assist Toyota in complying with any
applicable laws, regulations, notices and guidelines in place. If you have any difficulties in
relation to your completion of the process to establish and verify your identity, please contact
Toyota at the telephone or email address hereto provided.
1. Definition and Interpretation:
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the following
meaning:
1.1 “Toyota” means Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation licensed by the Bangko
Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and/or any officer/s or employee/s duly authorized to act for and
behalf of Toyota.
1.2 “Applicant” means any person or entity through its authorized representative, who want
to avail myTOYOTA Wallet Services. Individual applicant should at least be 21 years of age,
otherwise, parental consent is necessary.
1.3 “Credit Card” means credit card(s) by the Applicant designated to be linked with
myTOYOTA Wallet, which may be used to pay for the goods and/or services.
1.4 “Debit Card” means debit card(s) by the Applicant designated to be linked with
myTOYOTA Wallet, which may be used to pay for the goods and/or services.
1.5 “Device” means mobile phones and/or any other devices prescribed by Toyota to
accomplish the Transaction.
1.6 “myTOYOTA Wallet” means the Applicant’s electronic wallet being handled and
managed by TFSPH, which is linked to Debit or Credit Card upon approval of the Application
and may be used to pay for the goods and/or services.
1.7 “E-Wallet Service” means myTOYOTA Wallet which the Applicant can use for making
payment for the goods and/or services via electronic channel by scanning the Payee’s QR
Code.
1.8 “Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond the control
of and which prevent Toyota from fulfilling its contractual obligation/s, such as but not limited
to malfunction of Toyota’s computer system or communication system, computer virus or
harmful not attributable to Toyota’s failure to maintain its computer system.
1.9 “Payee” means a person or entity who uses Merchant’s Acceptance of Payment Service
with Toyota and agrees to receive payment for the goods and/or services from the Applicant
through myTOYOTA Wallet.
1.10 “Personal Security Code” means Login Name, Username, Password, PIN -Personal
Identification Number, One Time Password (OTP) or any other codes that will be used to
access myTOYOTA Wallet Service/s.
1.11 “Transaction“ means any instructions, record or transactions initiated by the Applicant/s
authorizing Toyota to debit fund from his/her Debit or Credit Card saved in myTOYOTA Wallet
to pay for the goods and/or services to the designated Payee.
1.12 “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural
person.
1.13 “Data Subject” means an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or
indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors
specific to his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
1.14 “Processing of Personal Data” means any operation or set of operations which is
performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection,
recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use,
disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or
combination, blocking, erasure or destruction;
2. Use and Safekeeping of Device, Personal Security Code, Password, Personal and other Data
2.1 The Applicant shall keep the Device, Personal Security Code, Password, Personal and other
data confidential and shall not disclose or do any acts that may compromised its confidential
nature, nor allow other person/s to be in possession of the same that would result to any
unauthorized access.
2.2 The Applicant shall be responsible for any Transaction made through such Device for
Transaction Execution.
2.3 The Applicant may change Personal Security Code at any time in accordance with the
procedures, means and conditions prescribed by Toyota.
2.4 The Applicant shall immediately notify or request Toyota for the seizure or suspension of
transaction and/or the use of the Applicant’s Personal Security Code or use of myTOYOTA
Wallet in case of its loss or damage, which shall be granted and processed upon proper
verification. All the cost and/or expenses incurred for the suspension of the transaction and/or
use of myTOYOTA Wallet shall for the account of the Applicant.
2.5 The Applicant/s hereby agree/s, however, that any and all transactions made prior to the
seizure or suspension of the use of myTOYOTA Wallet shall be considered as binding and
validly consummated in all respects.
3. Use of myTOYOTA Wallet Service/s:
3.1 myTOYOTA Wallet and related services may be used and availed of by the Applicants or
his/her/its authorized representative/s, upon registration and application in accordance with
the process and procedure prescribed and approved by Toyota. Upon approval, the Applicant/s
agree to be bound by the terms and conditions for each and every transaction/s initiated by
the Applicant/s, which shall form an integral part hereof.
3.2 The Applicant may use the following functions of myTOYOTA Wallet Service, to wit:
- 3.2.1 To make payment for the goods and/or services.

3.2.2 In no way shall the Applicant be allowed to withdraw cash directly from the myTOYOTA
Wallet, nor to transfer fund to other electronic wallet.

3.2..3 In making payment for the goods and/or services, Toyota shall immediately debit fund
for the price of goods and/or services from the myTOYOTA Wallet’s outstanding fund. For
basic account, the amount for payment for transaction/s per year shall be limited only to a
maximum amount of Php 100,000.00 and P 1,200,000.00 for upgraded/verified account,
unless changed by Toyota in its own judgment and discretion. The system shall automatically
cancel the payment transaction in the event the Debit or Credit Card is insufficient to cover
the amount of goods and/or services subject of the transaction.

3.2.4 The Applicant hereby release, discharge and hold Toyota or any of its employee/s or
officer/s free from and against any claim, demand, action, damage, loss, cost, liability or
expenses as a result of any delay in processing the Debit or Credit Card payment.

3.2.5 The Applicant likewise agrees to indemnify and hold Toyota or any of its employee/s or
officer/s harmless against any damage/s that may be incurred or sustain by third party/ies as
a result of the use of myTOYOTA Wallet which is contrary to law, public order or good morals,
such as but not limited to; gambling, weapon trade, terrorism and the like transactions.
3.3 To make payment/s for the goods and/or services by using Credit Card.

3.3.1 To add Credit Card, the Applicant shall fill in credit card information and proceed with
the registration process prescribed by Toyota.

3.3.2 In making payment transaction for the goods and/or services by using Credit Card
through the myTOYOTA Wallet, Toyota shall utilize the credit amount of Credit Card for such
Transaction. For basic account, the amount for payment for transaction/s per year shall be
limited only to a maximum amount of Php 100,000.00 and P 1,200,000.00 for
upgraded/verified account unless changed by Toyota in its own judgment and discretion.
Applicant agrees that Toyota may verify and authorize the details of the source of fund or
details of the credit card. The system shall automatically cancel the payment transaction in
the event of insufficiency of the credit card limit to cover the amount of goods and/or services
subject of the transaction.
3.4 To make payment/s for the goods and/or services by using Debit Card.

3.4.1 To add Debit Card, the Applicant shall fill in debit card information and proceed with the
registration process prescribed by Toyota.

3.4.2 When the Applicant makes payment Transaction for the goods and/or services by using
Debit Card through myTOYOTA Wallet, Toyota shall utilize the available amount in the Debit
Card for such Transaction. For basic account, the amount for payment for transaction/s per
year shall be limited only to a maximum amount of Php 100,000.00 and P 1,200,000.00 for
upgraded/verified account unless changed by Toyota in its own judgment and discretion.
Applicant agrees that Toyota may verify and authorize the details of the source of fund or
details of the debit card. The system shall automatically cancel the payment transaction in the
event of insufficiency of the amount in the Debit Card to cover the amount of goods and/or
services subject of the transaction.
3.5 Authorization Hold

3.5.1 In order to verify the payment method via credit or debit card, Applicant agrees that
Toyota may opt to issue an authorization hold, in a reasonable amount of P 50.00. This is a
preventive measure against any unauthorized or fraudulent usage of Applicant’s card. The
hold may appear in the Applicant’s billing as “pending”.

3.5.2 In the event the payment through myTOYOTA Wallet is made to an overseas merchant/s
in a currency other than Philippine peso, the Applicant shall be liable for any additional charges
by the issuing bank in relation thereto, since the authorization hold subject of this provision is
limited only to Philippine Peso.
- 3.5.3 In the event the payment through myTOYOTA Wallet is made to an overseas merchant/s
in a currency other than Philippine peso, the same shall be subject to the following:
-
(i) Where the overseas merchant is not a myTOYOTA Wallet capable of accepting such
payments, by way of the application of a dynamic exchange rate for payments settled directly
to the overseas myTOYOTA Wallet merchant, and
-
(ii) Where the overseas merchant is not myTOYOTA Wallet merchant capable of accepting
such payment, by way of payment by myTOYOTA Wallet in accordance with this terms and
conditions.
3.6 To refund or to cancel payment for the goods and/or services.
- 3.6.1 In the event that the Applicant has made payment for the goods and/or services to the
Payee exceeds the actual amount to be paid, or the Applicant wishes to cancel the payment
Transaction for the goods and/or services made through E-Wallet Service, the Applicant shall
notify the merchant and/or or the credit/debit card issuer and comply with the procedures
prescribed by them in order for the Payee to proceed with the refund or the cancellation of
such Transaction. In this regard, the Applicant shall proceed with the cancellation of
Transaction within the execution date of such payment Transaction only, and when such
refund or such cancellation made by the Payee is successful, the issuing Bank will refund to
the Applicant the debit or credit card used by crediting fund to the Applicant’s E-Wallet,
crediting the credit amount of the Debit or Credit Card used to make such Transaction, unless
prescribed otherwise by the issuing Bank.
The Applicant shall not make payment through E-Wallet Service for any debts which does not
arise from the purchase of goods and/or services from the Payee.

3.6.2 How to check Transaction reports of myTOYOTA Wallet.
The Applicant may check the outstanding fund in myTOYOTA Wallet and each payment
Transaction through any of the following; (i) the function for checking Transaction report; (ii)
function for notification on Application; or (iii) through any other channels to be prescribed by
Toyota.
3.7 How to manage E-Wallet.
- (1) The Applicant shall only be allowed to have one (1) myTOYOTA Wallet with Toyota which
shall be linked with Debit or Credit Card, which shall not be more than three (3) cards.

(2) The Applicant may, however, change his/her linked card/s upon compliance with the
required terms and procedure. Upon its approval, Toyota shall transfer fund from E-Wallet to
the new Receiving Account.

(3) In changing the linked card/s, Applicant shall likewise update his/her personal and/or other
data accordingly.
3.8 Any and all fees, service charges, cost or expenses pertaining to the use of myTOYOTA
Wallet, including any applicable tax/es and such other governmental or regulatory charges
shall be for the account of the Applicant.
4. Representations, Warranties, Acceptance and Binding Effect.
4.1 Terms and conditions herein provided constitute a valid, legal and binding obligations of
the Applicant/s and fully enforceable against him/her in accordance with its terms.
All information, document/s and/or personal data heretofore or hereinafter furnished or
transmitted by the Applicant/s to Toyota are true and correct in all material aspects and shall
not be misleading nor omit material facts. , and to regularly update the same as necessary.
Applicant is responsible to provide accurate registration information and for keeping such
registration information up to date, or notifying TFSPH in the event of changes.
The Applicant warrants that he/she has the legal personality, capacity and legal rights to carry
on to this transaction and/or to use myTOYOTA Wallet as represented to Toyota, and/or enter
upon and satisfactory fulfill his/her obligations under the terms and conditions herein provided.
Should additional information, document/s and/or data be required by Toyota, the Applicants
likewise warrants prompt delivery, execution and compliance thereof.
4.2 Any acts of and/or permitted act/s made by the Applicant/s pertaining to myTOYOTA
Wallet Service using Personal Security Code shall be deemed accurate, valid and binding in all
respects without having the Applicant to sign any or additional documents.
4.3 The Applicant is not allowed to change, withhold or cancel Transaction upon submission
of such transaction to Toyota through the use of myTOYOTA Wallet.
4.4 The Applicant recognizes the right of Toyota to modify and/or amend any of the terms
and conditions herein indicated, which may include fees, charges, cost and/or expenses in
relation to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet. In such an event, Toyota shall notify the Applicant
through letter, electronic mail or any other means, at least thirty (30) days prior to its
effectivity. Failure on the part of the Applicant to comment on the notice to modify or amend
any or all the terms and conditions within fifteen (15) days from receipt thereof, the same will
be deemed an acceptance without objection and Toyota shall proceed with its implementation.
4.5 The Applicant agrees to be bound by and comply with regulations, Terms and Conditions
including user guide and related documents containing the procedures on how to use the
services provided by Toyota, which have been received or shall be deemed to have received
by the Applicant on or prior to the execution date.
4.6. In the event of error or malfunction in using the myTOYOTA Wallet, the Applicant shall
immediately notify Toyota through the Customer Care Hotline: (02) 7-7578500 or Domestic
Toll-Free (PLDT) at 1-800-10-857-8500 or through email, feedback@toyotafinancial.ph and
provide the details of the transaction/s and/or any and all information relative to the error or
malfunction. Toyota shall then validate the same and conduct a thorough investigation to
determine the cause, and shall rectify the same in a timely manner. Once available, Toyota
shall inform the Applicant of the result of the investigation through any of the available means,
deemed substantial under the circumstances.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 Toyota shall in no way be responsible for any claim for damages for whatever reason/s
not attributable to Toyota and/or if the acts done by Toyota is in accordance with these Terms
and Conditions and/or done based on the data and/or information provided by the Applicant
to Toyota.
5.2 The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that Toyota shall not be liable for any error or
malfunction in the use of myTOYOTA Wallet Service due to the Applicant’s failure to properly
use the Device for Transaction Execution and/ or for failure to use Toyota’s Application service
due to Force Majeure and/or any other circumstances beyond Toyota’s control including but
not limited to; natural calamities, civil disturbance/s, accident/s or disruption, and/or labor
disputes.
5.3 The Applicant shall endeavor to resolve should there be a dispute with the Payee and/or
any person or entity relative to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet Service/s, without requiring
participation from Toyota.
6. Suspension and/or Cancellation of the Provision of Service
6.1 The Applicant acknowledges the right of Toyota to suspend or cancel, temporarily or
otherwise, without incurring any liability/ies for loss or damages, any and all types of services
of myTOYOTA Wallet with or without prior notice, under any of the following circumstances,
to wit:
- (i) If myTOYOTA Wallet is being use for illegal or immoral purpose/s;
- (ii) If the Applicant fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein provided;
- (iii) If there has been an abuse or improper use of myTOYOTA Wallet;
- (iv) The personal data submitted by the Applicant are incomplete, inaccurate or false;
- (v) If the Applicant become insolvent, place under receivership or seizure or attachment of property;
- (vi) If so directed by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), government instrumentality/ies, court
of competent jurisdiction, and/or regulatory body/ies or agency/ies;
- (vii) Any other circumstances germane or analogous to the foregoing.
6.2 The Applicant may, however, terminate or cancel the use of any type of services of
myTOYOTA Wallet with prior seven (7) day written notice to Toyota. Prior to the actual date
of cancellation or termination, Toyota is still entitled to debit from myTOYOTA Wallet or from
the linked card/s of the Applicant such fees, service charges or expenses pertaining to the use
of myTOYOTA Wallet in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. Collection, Use. Sharing or Disclosure of Personal Data or Information
7.1 The Applicant hereby authorizes and give full consent to Toyota to do any or all of the following:
- (i) Collection and processing of personal data and/or information which shall include the use,
loading and consolidation;
-
(ii) Outsourcing of the processing of personal data and/or Information to service providers,
whether within or outside the Philippines or engagement of service providers/external parties
by Toyota, whether based within or outside the Philippines and such other persons or entities
that Toyota may deemed necessary or appropriate for whatever purpose/s including
collection, marketing and promotions.

(iii) Verification or validation of personal data and/or Information from any and all sources
and in any reasonable manner, including but not limited to: courts or government or
administrative agencies or arbitral tribunals on the status of any case or proceeding to which
the Applicant is a party.
- (iv) Disclosure and sharing of Information:
- (a) among subsidiaries, partners and affiliates, and/or within GT Capital Group
- (b) to any judicial, governmental, supervisory, regulatory or equivalent body of the
Philippines or other jurisdictions;
7.2 The Applicant agrees that sharing, process and/or disclosure of personal data and/or
information shall not apply to the following:
- (i) already known at the time of the disclosure/access without an obligation of confidentiality;
- (ii) becomes publicly known through no unauthorized act of the parties;
- (iii) lawfully received from a third party through no restriction or breach of this Terms and
Conditions.
The Applicant hereby hold Toyota and its officers free and harmless from any and all
liabilities, claims, damages and suits of whatever kind and nature, that may arise in connection
with the implementation and compliance with the authorization herein conferred.
8. Contact Details and Notices
8.1 Any or all notice/s, communications and/or correspondence, such as but not limited to,
promos, advertisements, rewards, offers, customer care and support, after sales
communications, may be sent via email, SMS, messaging applications (e.g. Viber, WhatsApp,
etc.) or mail personally or thru courier to the home/email address/es or contact number
provided by the Applicant in the application for myTOYOTA Wallet services, unless another
address or contact number is formally communicated in writing to Toyota. The Applicant shall
be deemed to have received any communication, notice, and demand or summons after the
lapse of seven (7) days from the date the same is sent by mail at such address, or two (2)
days if thru sms or email, unless satisfactory proof to the contrary is presented.
9.1 Should the Applicant wishes to make a complaint or grievance/s, including cancellation of
account, Applicant/s are encouraged to contact Toyota through the Customer Care Hotline:

10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of the Philippines. Any dispute or any transaction hereunder shall be settled by
consultations in good faith between the Applicant and Toyota. If no settlement is reached,
any legal action or proceedings with respect to such dispute shall be brought before the proper
court of Makati City, Philippines, to the exclusion of any other court.
